You mortals. You cause your own problems and come crawling to us, complaining. I suggests you ask him to conduct a summoning for you. Offer to draw the circle for him, leaving out some tiny rune or other detail. Then ask him to summon some scary demon that frightens you to complete some task you may think up. Problem solved.
